In today’s leader- I mean I’m not too fussed he’s gone but judging by our recruitment it’s going to take till December to find his replacement.

“He has been training with us all week, what we are doing is allowing him to explore an opportunity which would be beneficial for him and the club as well.”

Luke Young remains Sam Ricketts’ only new signing since he took charge last month but the former Wales international says that could change next week.

“Maybe next week there will be some movement but I don’t think before Friday’s game against Lex,” said Ricketts.

As for his assistant manager, Ricketts added: “That is moving along as well.”

Maybe next week. Absolute shambles. It's unbelievable we cannot compete on crowds well above what was budgeted for.

Trouble is who is overseeing Sam's progress, or lack of it ? We were in the same situation with Mills except the reverse was happening and still our representatives did little till it was too late. I know our leader of the WST has stated that he doesn't wish to oversee our football manager and I understand that but then we have Spencer and Co who are not football experienced except as supporters and that I fear is where the problem lies.
Sam obviously bulled his way into the job and fooled quite a few people and has now been found out big time.
What should happen now ?
Well he was g8ven a 3yr contract which I know is unbelievable for a rookie but we are stuck with it and probably can't afford to get rid even if we want to.
Sam's assistant needs appointing within next 5 days and must be an experienced previous manager.
Sam should be halled if front of a WST and executive board meeting this Friday and told to explain the mess we seem to be in.
No more cosy meetings with Spencer discussing I don't know what and Sam must be given strong advice not treated , I assume, like a new kid on the block learning by mistake after mistake.
We need proper communication from OUR club not paper talk and tweeted sound bites we own this club and demand answers obviously understanding confidentiality but it must not be used as an excuse to hide behind,

I might be worrying about nothing but gut feelings tell me we are in a serious mess.

If he doesn't know what he is doing I don't have a problem with it. We all hope for success but sadly more and more supporters are bewildered by what is happening at he club.
