Squad as it stands no where near good enough.
Midfield still lacks real wingers and flair and we look light up front with only Holroyd proven and he’s not a number 9.

If we’re going with the likes of Rutherford as first choice again then forget the play offs. I don’t see this squad doing much, you could easily make a case that it’s worse than last years squad. Still time for Sam to sort this but with comments like “putting the finishing touches to the squad” it sounds to me like he’s near enough sorted the starting 11 and is looking to add depth which again is severely lacking. No cover for CB, a thin CM and no real wingers. It’s some way off needing finishing touches surely.

Been patient so far but it’s wearing thin as the season draws closer. Not inspired at all.

I think last night showed that a few injuries during the season and we look very very light. Still optimistic for a few players to come in. Ive got no iasue with any of the players we cutrently have but a bit more experience up front and more pace into the team would be very welcome.

Even with two more signings we’ll still be way off. I’ve given Sam the benefit of doubt until now but we’re getting too close to the season and we still need about 4-6 players at least. And then you hear him saying just adding the finishing touches? Worried he’s severely underestimated the league.

Inclined to think that the first eleven is better balanced than it was a year ago but there is absolutely no squad. The fact that seems to be policy, and that such a policy is a folly hasn't sunk in, is what has potential to really bite.

Last years strikers were hopeless so anything’s got to be a improvement on them.
