Have to agree

Who would have mentioned or predicted mike F-T , not a player I have really heard of

We don’t want James

Forward players required

More good news later in the week then
Less than a month to go, where has all that time gone, can’t wait for August

I'm not having Leo smith as our left sided attacker. Not having it.

personally i thought he did very well last pre-season in that role, unfortunately Keates didnt seem to play the same way and he got frozen out.

got to give the lad a chance, as he certainly hasnt had one yet

Surely we should be giving products of our academy like Leo Smith a chance, otherwise what is the point of having it? I hope he is given a proper shot at it this season

He couldn't have done much worse than Deverdics or Franks last season surely?

He has had a chance but not progressed.
He had a number of games in midfield but didnt really impress or improve at all.
His position isnt LM and I dont know why fans try to make out that someone can do a job there as its a bit like Johnny Hunt all over again.

If he is good enough then he will get in but if not!!!!

Johnny Hunt has forged out a successful football league career since we let him go, so maybe our fans aren't always the best judges!

If we go into the season having just an 18 man squad and with Leo Smith as our left sided attacking option - how is that the quality over quantity that Ricketts has talked about all summer? A player who hasnít really shown anything in his time here and who barely kicked a ball last season.

Yes just a few weeks ago there was a huge outcry about our youth set-up and developing our own players. It seems we very much want things both ways, depending on which way the wind blows that day.

Id take Hunt back here in a flash compared to what we have had the past few seasons. Hard working and could score a few as well.

Some players here though for whatever reason don't work out. Unfortunately for us that seems to be strikers a lot of the time.
