He had a successful loan with the Purple Jumper wearers last season

Why would Bristol City want to loan him out to a club lower in the football league pyramid?

Yeh true, never thought of it that way, wait and see what Sam's powers of persuasion are though! I used to get great insider info of a mate who worked at the club but even he hasn't heard a sausage this year, Young Sam certainly keeps his cards close to his chest!

It does happen though. Massanka had played for York in L2. I would imagine what is more important is the set up at the club where they are going, and how it will aid their development.
