We have had Finley and Quigley here they may have stayed if we were in the FL.

Can't believe Mills didn't want Finley, he looked pretty damn good when on loan with us. Didn't we try to sign Quigley before he went to Blackpool? And we allegedly bid for Oswell as well. So hardly laughable, but certainly disappointing! (Mills REALLY dropped the ball with Finley)

I think he's alluding to the fact that we arrived at the party far too late for all of them.

From what has been said we have looks to sign all 3 but either more money or the lure of league football won the day. Maybe Oswell was missed earier when he was released by Crewe or before he made name for himself at Stockport, but that goes for nearly every signing at our level.

Quigley - definitely, Oswell - possibly, Finley, no (we had him, he was happy to stay, it was Mills who fecked up - as Mills liked to do )
