We've signed Pyke who has no senior goals to his name. You couldn't make it up.

We better hear of some quality coming in asap

The lad has hardly played senior football give him a break ffs. Negativity is getting boring now switch off until the start of the season it might do you good.

The board have no problem suggesting other major developments e.g. Lease of ground. I don't see why this is different.

For 1 minute I thought 'here we go again', it's hot enough here in Crete without a brain meltdown. Also I was thinking only 2 weeks to the Dover game. Wish I was going!!

Just as a point to think about, what sort of money would we need to effectively put together a top rate team in this Division. We stumble along each year with a team that is put together on a shoe string. Some of you might say hang on a minute, we spent x amount last year which is a considerable amount of money, but we never seemed to get everything gelling together, so we ended up tenth. What money do we need for a top rate forward with style pace and experience?

I don't think that is really a good argument. We are going to be relying on him and he's barely played senior football and hasn't score a senior goal. Those points alone are a concern heading into this season. Looking very bare upfront.

Exactly. Pyke could do what Macauley Bonne did last year and we will all be singing his praises come end of April

this league - and player recruitment - is a lottery
