My son went tonight. Apparently the only 11 players we have played the first half and managed a 1-1 draw against the mighty Lex . Brilliant.

The game lasted just 60 minutes , unbeknown to him, so naturally he was a bit miffed at paying the entry free, especially as in his words the 60 minutes was “absolute dross “ .

This is how far we have travelled after years of ownership by the clique - charging loyal fans to watch 60 minutes of desperate football against a local amateur club who themselves saw better days many years ago.

Surely it is Lex, who have charged admission...not the Clique. Wouldn't want the truth to get in the way of a good moan.

True but Wrexham were advertising the match as one of several pre season friendlies. They could have said something.

But that is neither here nor there. The main point is that what was on offer in that short time was very poor . I accept that this is the norm for pre season friendlies , but for Gods sake , we are talking Lex. Good job we are not playing Gresford next week.
