Yes it's a gamble, but how many times have we seen other clubs in our league with strikers picked up from smaller clubs who have been excellent, and moved on to bigger and better things, and are now out of our price range. As a club we need to be picking up these players from smaller clubs too.

Ive never been one for having a go at the club or a player but this signing is totally underwhelming especially after the over the top build up to it. I hope the lad does well & proves me wrong but this has got Bakare MK2 written all over it & if this is the sort of signings that Ricketts is going to make then who blame Pearson or Manny if they did decide leave!!

Agreed. This PR stunt has done him no favours. Hopefully he can do a job, but I'm not optimistic.
