You don't know that he got rid of Raven, Raven may have wanted guaranteed first team football at his age, I personally thought after a few games he got caught out for pace.

I raised this point on another thread, surely we should have a bit put away. Using Akil Wright as an example, didnt really get a game last year now we have him down as starting and have a wage saved potentially. Same with Dibble.

It’s not been mentioned anywhere who was offered a deal and turned it down....

Hoping for a quality left-winger because for all intents and purposes Jennings has been our left-winger for the past year or so.

Although I'm hoping Jennings would be more willing to hang back a bit more with one otherwise the counter attack down our left side will be our main weakness.

Exactly so without knowing the facts how can anyone say the manager should of kept him. That plus a manager might rate a player and another may not, yes he did great coming on against Tranmere and was better than Jennings, imho that wouldn't be hard as I don't rate Jennings very highly but that's football we all have opinions, non of us can really says who's right or wrong.

Agree with this. It would give us more balance and stop us being over reliant on jennings.

LOL He's a right footed centre back. In that game he was tasked with defending man to man, booting it forward and not venturing over the half way line.
