Disagree we need the following now.
Goalkeeper cover and somebody capable of a long spell as No1.
Defensive cover -need cover now and capable of playing centre back and full back to cover injuries and suspensions
Midfield one or two needed now able to play wide with one probably a loanee
Forwards at least two and able to cover midfield and wide position one probably a loanee.
So 4 permanent signing and 2 loanees.

Let January take care of itself with one or two places made by players who can't hack it under SM.

I take it Carrington is seen as full back cover and Tharme would have been the CB cover before he went so he will need replacing.

A wide player or two in midfield plus another forward at least.
