'They'd have to apply the same moral standards in all areas'
I don't understand that quote. The only owner in football that we still have a problem with is Vaughan, all the other scumbags that have tried to harm this club are no longer in the game. And if they think the money raised from the gate will go into Bangor's first team then they are on another planet, it goes straight into Vaughan's pocket. Maybe another friendly with Druids would have been better seen as though Bangor owe them money.

Abdicating any moral responsibility and laying the blame on " management" reflects very poorly on the Board.

I'd love to know how the management deemed Bangor in particular ideally suited for the pre season preparations. Why don't they admit that the college lecturer Darlington is the only reason they are playing a Cymru alliance team as part of their prep. They must think we were born yesterday.
It's amazing the influence somebody who's never played football and works for us part time has over the board.

Stop letting your agenda cloud your vision on this. The side Bangor have managed largely to retain qualified for Europe in the Welsh Premier last year only to be relagated due to off field issues. They will be a good test.

13 have left with 4 undecided. Potentially 17 to leave. We could have played dozens of teams and got the same challenge. This is a buddies love in....... And you know it

There were difficulties in arranging a pre-season friendly since Druids are competing in Europe.
Think there will be a game at The Rock v Wrexham in September.

Best thing any WAFC fan can do for their Bangor counterparts,is to turn up,stand shoulder to shoulder with them, and scream bloody murder at the Vaughns. All we can really offer them is moral support, but that's often the most valuable kind.Might try to make it there myself now.

In solidarity.

I wonder if there will be any minutes silences for heart-of-gold types?

https://www.theguardian.com/football...er-person-test

"In November 2007, the fans were asked to honour a minute's silence for a man, Colin Smith, described as a friend of Vaughan's and a benefactor to the club. Supporters bewildered about Smith's identity would soon read he was a major Liverpool cocaine dealer – although he was never actually convicted of any drug-related offences – who had been killed the previous month in a shooting widely described and reported as a gang execution."

Chester City’s Administration & Stephen Vaughan | Twohundredpercent worth a revist as well.

As someone I was speaking to yesterday said, they didn't think Vaughan was chased off from here but just luck we dodged him.

They also added that they thought Vaughan would not think twice about getting involved here if they could again.

I agreed with them.

It seems they want VSM out of their club reading Bangor City Chat and fearing their club will go into admin / fold. A couple of posts about not going again while current ownership is there too.

That is why I am finding it hard to square off the 'solidarity' comment.
