That means getting a better midfield to supply the strikers which need to be improved in terms of quality aswell. |

Dont rate him and he will have to improve considerably to be in the starting 11 if Sam is as tough as he seems. |

Re: Quigley
My view on him he was raw, not a 90 minute player. Poor in the air, chickens out of tackles and not aware of players around him in better positions, or he just ignored them.
But with proper coaching their is a half decent player, he just needs to improve on these weaknesses. A good striker at non league level. Posted via mobile theme |

Re: Quigley
For a big bloke he was incredibly poor in the air, yet deceptively decent with the ball at his feet (goal in the home derby v Tranmere).
I guess if he was good at all aspects of his game he would be playing higher up the pyramid - Blackpool took a look at him and probably have recognized his weaknesses and offloaded. He tried to do a lot all on his own last season - was often out on the left flank and trying to cut in - couldn't cross the ball into the middle as there was nobody there where he should have been - probably find his level which will be at National League unless 'MANY' of his bad habits are coached out of him. As for Deverdics - he needs to vastly improve - very poor so far and too weak - no sign of putting challenges in. We will see what a different manager can bring out of him - sometimes that's all it takes - expecting Leo Smith to be more significant this season. |
