25 goals in 5 years at TNS, none at Blackpool and a short purple patch at Wrexham. Not good enough for a team looking to get out of this league, certainly not good enough for league football.

Well that "purple patch" is what counts really as that's the here and now! Not good enough for us yet was wanted by several football league clubs? Have a word.

Oh come on, don't be drawn in by the standard football guff. He's a low risk financial loan! Likeable lad so happy for him to prove me wrong but can't see him being a success there.

Pretty much every signing at this level throws out the wanted by football league clubs line, it's what footballers / agents do!

And that purple patch, the here and now, which was actually a good chunk back into last season, isn't really relevant! Unless you want Alex Reid back too!

Not fussed. Has chronic hamstring issues that mean he doesn't train half the time. Hence why is was knackered after an hour. I think we can do better

Poor first touch, no good in the air, doesn’t get his head up, think people were influenced by his first couple of games when he scored a couple of goals

And yet most people would have been happy for Quigley to come back to us - same old story that once a player who we fancy and want back moves to a different club they weren't that good after all.

We still need some firepower up front - Oswell and Quigley gone, Alabi to Orient - who's fancied to come in ? Michael Cheek the other name touted around still not yet fixed up - surprised he didn't move to Barnet with half his team.

I would feel a lot better if we signed one significant 'name' - that has a reputation of getting a few goals..........but they seem to be running out unless someone comes inform a different league.

I believe Dean Keates had no intention of re-signing him after seeing him both in training and on the pitch over several months.

The gaffer seems to know his targets and is prepared to play the long game to get them so I'm happy to wait and see.
