Dibble lasted 15 mins before coming off injured hope it’s not serious. Our new signing didn’t even make the bench due to injury but had to make a quick change. Please don’t say we are going to have to start looking for loan signings all ready.
I’m available at a push my knee replacement is repairing well just will require help kicking and jumping oh yes and I can only play 45 mins due to fatigue.
From Sam's interview, all precautions. If had been a league game he is pretty sure the players that came off would have stayed on the pitch. Sub goalie (Lainton) wasn't injured, it was decided Dibble would play the 90mins so the other lad did a heavy gym session instead then rest. As it happens he had to play.

It's debatable that anyone should even pay for pre-season games.

Taking a result seriously from effectively a glorified training session is embarrassing even for your standards FOG

Neither of these two will be in goal for us within 3 months of the season starting. Ricketts will be forced into an emergency loan to shore up a team that is leaking goals due to keeper errors. One thing you don’t do in football is sign keepers on the cheap. It’s basic stuff - the first thing you get right is the keeper, the centre half , the centre midfield and the goal scorer. So far we have 2 Out of 4

Liverpool and both Manchester clubs plus other clubs have spent a fortune on goalkeepers and some of them have turned out rubbish.

Well said Foxy,it was mentioned before Laiton signed that he is often injured,50 odd games and he is 28,and how many times has Dibble been injured in his short Wrexham career.

Slightly off topic but still on GK trend, does anyone know if there is any definite clause with Danny Ward if he were to be sold? I see Man City sold a relatively unknown keeper for £13.5m this week, and Ward would surely not be far from that bracket. ANy % we get could be huge.

Just the sort of comment to be expected from you FOG.
Portugal are the current European champions, and the Country has has a long history of producing world class players.
Wales, on the other hand, does not. We do occasionally, as does England.

We play in the 5th tier of the English system, which is populated by both Professional and semi professional Clubs. In Portugal the Pro/semi pro cut off would appear to be in their 3rd tier.....not surprising, given their differing economy and much lower population.
Whether Louletano are semi pro with waiters in the team is irrelevant. It is their footballing ability and organisation that is important, and going by last nights result, they are on a par with us.
Get real, and stop being so predictable.

According to the Leader online, Klopp is going to give him a chance as first choice goalkeeper.
