Happy with this,

I can understand others calling for Raven but he has gone now.

To me it sounded like Doug coped well enough against decent opposition against Macc the other night.

Hopefully he can develop into the CB we would all love him to be.

Maybe Ricketts has Doug himself out of a hole with this, and hopefully a few more signings.

No Tharme done in having more defensive bodies in the squad.

A youth team player going pro does not constitute as a new signing in my book - we are owed 2 ‘proper’ signings of players who will actually be part of the first team.

Comfortable with this. As a back up - we need someone who will be sensible about waiting for their chance - Tharme is and has enough ability and potential to step up when needed.

However, we still need at least another 2 signings - both at the other end of the field to mount a half decent challenge this season
