If we play hoofball, Hinds will be crap, but if we play attractive football and playing a lot more through balls for a pacey striker (Hinds), then he's got more chance of having a successful loan spell here.

We've tried experience, hasbeens and journeymen.

It will certainly be an interesting season.

I'm all for youth pace & hunger but they do need experience alongside them, you have to get the blend right.

Cast your mind back to the start of Saunders' management.

That was my thought initially but we have some strength at the back and a decent midfield so I'm more optimistic it will be like Saunders last team that ended up with 98 points.

We had Wright, Speight and Pogba up front then. I don't think that comparison is fair. The punt was Pogba but we had the other two to fall back on.

Youth and vigour can be good, but having this as the main competent of our attack is very risky and a ton of loans would also be poor on Ricketts' part.

If hinds does come then we need to it balanced by proven quality. We'd need someone else as well.

Young, Summerfield, Roberts, Jennings, Manny, Pearson and Holroyd are all experienced, another more mature striker would be ideal but we've got a decent mix I think, just short of a few more bodies.

To be fair Wright was a bit of a punt then, he played for Histon.
