I don't know anything about this guy, and he don't look too great on paper, but at least he is experienced which was lacking.

Two goals in 28 games last season and according to one Cov City fan the bloke is a “running joke”. Oh, he is also just 5’7”. Teams do not get promoted out of this league with a band of small players. And don’t even get me started on this loaner madness. Ricketts has promised “quality “ signings and he hasn’t delivered.

Reading the Cov forum this seems to say a lot about the type of player and expectations "To be fair to the fella, he performed as expected. We knew he wasn't a goalscorer when we signed him."

Ricketts has massively underestimated it. What was he doing for all those weeks in May and June while we heard nothing from him?

That’s right, spouting the annual spin that gets wheeled out at this club by all concerned that the better players become available at the last minute. Of course they don’t, they get snapped up immediately.
