Anyone else a little bit peturbed by the amount of loanees we have signed on. They may be fabulous but if they are, someone else will just snap them up and we will be even worse off than we already are with out threadbare Squad. I am so worried about the club. Hope I am wrong

I thought this but then how are we worse off, for example with Lainton or Beavon, than if they were permanent signings on 1 year deals?

We haven't signed anyone on loan who a) would have joined us permanently and b) is proven enough at this level to warrant a 2+ year deal so I have no issue really.

Of course it's another thing to moan about if you're that way inclined.

The club owns 15 players. I think it's debatable how long we can even say the club is well run if that's where we're at.

I don't understand what you're getting at here. If Hinds is on a season long loan and turns out to be 'fabulous' as you say, what's the risk. Bristol have just given him a 3 year deal so won't be wanting to sell anyway.

Signing a player on a season long loan is just like signing them on a one year contract without the cost, good deal on our part IMHO.

The other positive of a year long loan is that if we did find a gem who banged in 25 goals by Christmas then they couldn't be picked off or unsettled by a rival team with money who wanted to undermine our position to strengthen their own!
