Hard to judge how we fared as a team as a whole as we were obviously set up to let them have the ball in their own half then hit on the break, equalling a lot of possession for FGR, albeit a lot of it undproductive.

Major difference between teams at our level and league 2 was that when they did have a chance, they took it.

Thought it was a good game. Some strange ratings on here. Roberts had a decent game considering hinds let forest green double up on Roberts. Akil Wright looked good today seems a lot stronger than last season. Thought young was poor but to be fair later in the game he improved. Don't understand why everyone is so negative before the start of the season. People have to remember how did Tranmere start last season, after ten games it looked like Mellon was a shoe in for the sack

Having followed the reds for almost 60 years I approach every year with optimism for the season ahead. In my 60 years I have seen great cup runs and a few promotion season and unfortunately a similar number of relegation seasons.

I read most of the comments you make and think you are either a very sad individual who just doesn't understand the running of a club at our level or you just love winding people up. As far as I'm concerned it's miles better than last season. Never once left the racecourse last season thinking I really enjoyed that game.Everybody put a shift in today and we seem to have a plan going forward.
