FGR pre season friendly ratings

Layton 4 didn’t do anything at the moment does not fill me with confidence,
Jennings 5 typical performance some good some poor.
Roberts 5 excellent first half, up against second half.
Smith 7 my mom usual Manny
Pearson 7 considering he missed some good performance
Wright 6 fought well but needs better control after winning the ball.
Summerfield 6 was ok when he had the ball, which was limited.
Young 5 lightweight needs to get involved more.
Holroyd 3 very ineffective not sure what gone wrong.
Hinds 6 got potential but does need some service.
Big Mike 7 as raw as they come but a lot of C/Hs are going be sore.
Subs
Rutherford 6 the much maligned lad made a difference when he come on.
Bevon 7 looks the part could form a partnership with Big Mike.

Re: FRG ratings

Lainton 3
Roberts 6
Jennings 6
Manny 7
Pearson 7
Wright 7
Young 5
Summerfield 6
Hinds 6
Holroyd 5
Fandop 7

Beavon 7
Rutherford 7

Others weren’t on long enough ok ish performance gave them too much space/respect ... lainton a worry if he’s going to be number 1 Beavon on that showing will be a good signing

Beavon looked a handful when he came on. Like the look of big Mike up top too!

Please explain what Lainton could have done about any of the goals?

Re: FRG ratings

Lainton let down by defensive lapses 5.5 seen better distribution, seen worse
Roberts lapse for first goal 6
Pearson 6 not at his best, but best is immense so only 7.5
Manny solid 8
Jennings a bit indecisive at times good going forward mainly solid 6
Akil wow what a unit , give him a confident run in team 8
Young a bit lightweight nothing major wrong 6
Summerfield here there everywhere in midfield 7.5
Freddie Hinds 8 looks full of confidence he will skin some defences, often when he had the ball fgr put 3men on him to knock him over for a foul- should be fun to watch
Holroyd a bit disappointing, we need to get balls to him to run on to , maybe not the best game
Mike Fondop. Mike Fondop Talom to the tune of hal robson hal robson kanu 8 he'll knock a few defenders around and wont be pushed over easily, a poachers goal which he enjoyed

Crowd -- pleasing near ful mrs
Fgr - shame being pedantic in a friendly kicking ball away, maybe cant get away from normal game

Overall we have a lot to look forward to this season
Onward - 2 official coaches to dover ,,, so far, and a new ground for me, bonkers ? Yep
Early season happy flappy optimism

I would have liked it better if we d pushed more when fgr passed acros the back

Glad we've identified our scapegoat early. Step forward Rob Lainton
