By all means try to get the rules changed especially on FFP, but whilst the rules are as they are Salford I'm afraid are doing nothing wrong, any more than Man City are. I refuse to accept as well that if we were offered money no strings attached by rich benefactors that most of us (or the Trust) would turn it down.

Whilst the rules are what they are though it is jealousy and it achieves nothing thinking that way.

Lifes unfair. so we have to deal with it Moaning about it isn't going to do anything about it. We need to get smarter as a club now we have the Ward money. Invest in some scouting system and get the up and coming talent in early. The Salford model is going to put transfer fees up for this division for the duration of there stay and end of the day even with the money we have they are going to still be able to outspend us.

I wouldn't think it would be Macclesfield but they might have been in the running.

Tranmere were clear favourites in the betting from the off. Evening after a bad start they still held their price reasonably well. Hartlepool were up there too but fell away quickly. Cant remember much more than that.

Tranmere went out to 18/1 at one point not long after their defeat to us.
