After Harrogate (H) VNL - 27/4/19 (2-1)
 

And the regular season ends.

Compared to last season, we conceded the same number of goals but scored 9 more converting 8 of last seasons draws into victories, but 2 became defeats, for 14 extra points lifting us from 10th to 4th.

We did this with 3 different managers - shall we try 4 next season to give us automatic promotion from whichever league we are in?

Two more wins for another Wembley appearance - I hope we've been practising penalties!

Goal totals now agree, Good. Braintree result still showing as 1 - 0, Bad.

I haven’t checked all the Player availability because I’ve got gardening to do, but Spyro the dragon and Young’s are wrong and for reasons I don’t understand Smith M, has a 95 in his column.

My next concern is promotion! I'm going to look for the last time we played the teams we'd be up against - meaningless but interesting perhaps.

First, a sincere apology to Hamilton Pathetic; I was looking at an updated but, as yet, unpublished version of the stats which has the errors he indicated corrected. The stats below do have some discrepancies in the individual player stats which will be resolved in the final stats to be published after the playoff final.

Here are the final stats for the season - or, at least, my version!

Many thanks to all who contributed by pointing out non-deliberate errors. All were noted and most were fixed.

I will keep this as a sticky for about a week and then it will be closed and un-stickied(?). About ten minutes later it will disappear from page 1.

I'm preparing for next year with a couple of minor tweaks and a few engine room modifications to reduce the error rate. Anyone with constructive suggestions for improvement could PM me and I will happily give them full consideration.

Wrexham's league average away attendance 2018/19:
Average: 576 (2nd best)
Biggest: 1,520 (Chesterfield)
Smallest: Barrow (116, Tuesday night in Barrow isn't really attractive is it)
Games with 500+: 8/23
Total miles travelled: 8,050

Going to be a little better next season if we stay on track with on-pitch results due to 4 Southern teams going down and Orient going up. Salford and Stockport is pretty much as close to a like-for-like swap in terms of distance away as you can get, plus we'll probably take a lot to Chorley and Notts County.

Out of curiosity who was 1st best on average? I'd guess Orient with their results and the amount of teams in and around London but I'm interested.
