Dover are the archetypal non-league hoofball team, and are probably the most effective team playing that style of football in our league. They can grind out results very well and always seem to keep their shape.

Despite that, they are beatable. They're a side whose team, on paper, looks worse than the previous season whilst I believe ours looks better - especially taking into account JMD now being a red.

It's a difficult first competitive game in charge for Ricketts, but hopefully he'll be making the 6 hour trip home with 3 points in hand.

Games like Dover will give us an idea how we will fare against the dirty ,time wasting, cheats in our division.
With weak referees again it will be a wake up call for some players.
