I think you are right.

Like I said before if Maguire-Drew had been available earlier in the close season I doubt that Ricketts would have gone for Pyke.

I can see Huddersfield recalling him due to lack of game time.

I'm not so sure.

Boden didn't get much game time under Keates and when he got a bit of a run in the team seemed to look good alongside Quigley before he was omitted from the squad under mysterious circumstances.

Plus everyone up front struggled for goals last season due to our lack of an attacking midfield and nobody to supply the ammunition - defend first and if we could snatch a 1 - 0 win a boring mind numbing hallelulah !

Given a good run of games and better tactics than we had to endure last season he might just surprise a few if he stays clear of injuries.

Is it mysterious? I presume he was on one of those earn another year after X games type of contracts and DK didn't want to trigger it
