Who will we shed?

With so many new players coming in will SR shed a few of our under performers?
The friendlies may have revealed some weaknesses in a side with promotion ambitions.

I cant see Deverdics getting much game time if he will only play in the number 10 role. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave.

None hopefully, this number is the bare minimum you can get away with. Maybe a loan spell for Leo Smith, and another for Tharme if another defender came in but otherwise we need no movement out to have what we need.

No criticism here, just amusement that only a week ago the thought was we didn't have enough players and now we're wondering who will go.

I think a more interesting, but related question is; 'how will Ricketts use his squad'. Leo and Doug are likely to get little game time, but Pyke, McGuire-Drew, Fondop, Holroyd, and to a lesser extent Ruthers will need to be kept happy/match fit. I think we might see some rotation up front and possibly in centre midfield.

Well defensively we still look a bit thin. But Sam has secured a lot of forwards.

Totally agree but what quality central defender would come in knowing Manny and Pearson are in front of them? As an injury replacement loan signing, knowing they'd get game time, you might be better off?

He will be thinking Deverdics and Carrington can cover left back. Carrington can cover right back and in a complete emergency you’d imagine Rutherford could do a job there too. Centre back is the issue, there’s literally Tharme and no other backup. Akil Wright is not a centre half.
