Sounds like we rode our luck but it’s an unexpected win. Pressure for the first home match on Tuesday is lifted somewhat now.

When was the last time we won our first game of the season away from home? Gone back to 96/97 and can't find a Wrexham opening day win away from home.

People were saying don't get too down if we lost... but can't help getting excited about the season after that win.

Fondop with what sounds like a decent goal, pen save, riding luck... promotion is ON !

On the coach home now great performance all round. Great save on the pen by lainton which no one knew why it was given, defence solid as ever still abit concerned about Jennings, midfield was solid and summerfield and young look like what we’ve been needing for years with akil having a brilliant game also, Big mike up front with a brilliant skill for the goal, battled hard and has to be MOTM. Early days but looking good, so much more positive football played than last season going forward, on to Tuesday now
