Laigton some good saves. 7
Roberts 6 tough first half but improved as the rest of the team in the second
Jennings 6 as above.
Manny 7 one mistake but otherwise good
Pearson 8 magnificent
Summerfield 6 overrun in the first half but kept going
Wright 9 mom best game I’ve see him play in a red shirt
Young 8 very close to Akil for my man of the match.
Jordan 6 (what’s his name) some good touches especially the run and shot in
First half.
Rutherford 7 poor in the first good seconhalf.
Mike Fondop 6 battled bravely but poor service in the first half needn’t help.
Subs.
Bevon 6 clever player would have liked to start with big Mike
Carrington 6 much to my surprise did ok
Pykie 6 nice touches looked dangerous.

First half our build up play was ponderously slow second half speeded up and
Created chances . Good game of football Iam sure between two teams who will be there and there about sand the end of the season. Great fans.

I agree with all of that. Akil was my MotM, Rutherford and Young looked good too.

Just goes to show how poor a manager Keates was that he couldn't get or see that performances from Wright.

Lainton 8 looked the part
Roberts 6 good defensively, little else
Smith 7 good apart from one error
Pearson 8 MOTM had his work cut out against Rowe
Jennings 6 involved a lot. Some good, some bad

Wright 8 great performance
Young 6 thought he was poor first half, but a lot better second
Summerfield 6 same as young

Rutherford 7 busy performance created problems for them and got ua out of problems defensively
Fondop 7 good in the air, not great with his feet.
Maguire- Drew 7 great moments but that is what they were. Moments. Needs to be involved more.

Subs
Beavon looked a competent experience pro, but way too small to play down the middle
Pyke did well against a tiring defence
Carrington fine

Lainton 8- Great few saves
Jennings 7 - Thought he had a decent game, put a few good balls into the box especially first half
Pearson 8 - Solid as usual
Manny 8 - Same as pearson
Roberts 7- Good game
JMD 8- Great pace and skill, looks like a brilliant signing with real quality
Summerfield 7 - Not as good as the weekend but still looks a class above kelly
Akil 9 - Best game in a wrexham shirt by far, makes me wonder why keates didnt play him more last season MOTM
Young 8 - Great game also, battled hard and bossed the midfield
Rutherford 6 - Not bad game but would still like to see run at defenders more and not pass backwards.
Fondop 6 - Not as good as dover despite winning a lot of headers. Looked abit isolated up top

Beavon 7 Looks like he has abit of quality, good at holding up the ball
Carrington 7
Pyke 7 made a abit of an impact when he came on

Overall decent performace with what will be probably one of the toughest home games this season. Was a much different game to dover and was unlucky not to sneak the win. Would like to see whether rutherford was actually offside.

I think 8s and 9s are a bit optimistic here....Lainton prob an 8, Pearson, Young, Wright 7s and rest 6s

Lainton: 8 - MOTM. One good save in the first half and one great save in the 2nd. Saved us 3 points over the past 2 games with that and the Dover pen save.
Roberts: 6 - Had a lot to do against Francis-Angol and Cardle. Was solid, no complaints about him
Smith: 7 - Typical Smith, did the job he is there to do.
Pearson: 8 - Had probably the best National League striker in his back pocket all game, even recovered from what was a scary moment in his slip well.
Jennings: 4 - Poor day for him today, looked like he was still on his holidays. Gave the ball away cheaply, although gets kudos for putting Gime Toure on his arse.
Young: 8 - Won a lot of tackles and always picked the right pass. Would have been MOTM if his long range effort went in the top bin.
Summerfield: 6 - Solid, but hardly noticed him at times. Did nothing wrong, played a few decent balls
Wright: 8 - Another MOTM contender. Broke up a few plays and tried to create things.
Rutherford: 7 - Ran and ran, delivered some decent crosses. What you expect from him.
Maguire-Drew: 7 - He was good, but I don't know why the sponsors gave him MOTM. Could come good for us, you can tell he has natural ability on the ball
Fondop-Talon: 6 - Won a few headers even though both Fylde centre-backs were marking him at times. Ricketts needs to get him on the treadmill because he looked shattered in the 2nd half before going off.

Subs:
Beavon: 6 - Some clever play, he's very similar to Scott Boden as a striker.
Carrington: 5 - Did nothing wrong, did nothing particularly great
Pyke: N/A - Didn't have enough time to really impact the game, could come good though.

Overall, we managed to keep out last year's top scoring team, and Danny Rowe didn't look threatening at all thanks to our defence. Bit unlucky going forward but the match could have went either way.

Jennings offered very little going forward
At least Roberts had a go second half

Enjoyed the game, team looks like a step forward from last season, but can we stop turning attack’s into backward passes to manny and Pearson

Well done to the 5700 @ unbelievable , let’s do it again on Saturday
