He was warming up with Holroyd, Leo and Deverdics pre match. Apparently he picked up a bit of a niggle last week so hasn't been risked.

Some good additions there in the pre match warm up to come into the squad when fully fit - makes you wonder who would drop out to accommodate any of them ?
Anyway it's a long hard season and there are bound to be injuries, loss of form and perhaps suspensions but hopefully not many. We might be in a better position than we have for some years to introduce a bit of squad rotation - it might be vital to keep everyone feeling involved and wanted.

If we are putting in the good performances then we don't change. It puts pressure on the squad to keep the quality up but also will make the subs work that bit harder to push them as well. All in all a good situation to be in.

Holroyd and Deverdics youd think would have the best chance of coming back into the first team when fit. But as NR says you don't change things when the team are playing well. Up to them to show Ricketts in training he can't leave them out.

Be interesting once they are fully fit if SDR sacrifices one of his midfielders to play a more attacking no 10.

Holroyd maybe but Deverdics will struggle getting into midfield 3 at the moment

A chance to try it Saturday and give Summerfield a rest he looks knackered.

You'd imagine Summerfield would be the first to be dropped if he wanted to do that. Though I'd be hesitant to make any changes at the moment.
