Our proposal is for one with 10 spaces professionally drawn and in consultation with WCBC.
So the club plan is, on the face of it, for more spaces it seems. Is the DSA proposed platform bigger than the existing one then?

Yes, on the face of it, yes their plan is.

Ours is bigger than platform 1.

D&G ... The numbers are [for the DSA committee] not the be all and end all of the issue [platform 2].There are other very important issues involved, such as inclusivity, which is one of the very corner-stones of the DSA's ethos.

A bigger question than numbers is surely one of delay. Unless I am mistaken the planning of the second platform has gone on for two years with both the DSA and WST in agreement. The current divergence would suggest further delays. Can someone please explain why the WST changed their minds over the original plan? I pose this question on here since, to my recollection, the WST board have made no comment since the June agm.All very confusing and , from the viewpoint of wheelchair users, very troubling.

You could always ask the WST instead of having digs on here. As far as I'm aware this isn't the voice of the trust but a forum for fans. If you have a question for the WST I suggest you ask them.

It's not a dig but concern of someone who supports the DSA.

The club changed their minds on the original P2 plan,as a result of realising certain implications that it had for the general use of that end of the Yale stand. These implications should have been obvious to them from the get-go,but alas they only came to light AFTER the DSA had had a second set of architect's plans drawn up for the project.

Your support is much appreciated old fruit. To be fair though, neither the Trust nor the club have had any significant info to put out publically on this, since the AGM.
