Think about the logic here rather than the personalities.

If there is no outlet up front then the when the ball is cleared then we are still on the back foot defending. Whereas with an outlet up front and one with pace then at least we give ourselves a chance to put them on the back foot and get players up to support.

This forum is all about discussing these tactics and formations isn't it?
