Team for Boreham Wood
Beavon looked decent but I don't think you can drop any of the attackers. Similarly when Holroyd returns from injury.. I thought he was one of our best players last season, but hard to fit all these attackers in a 4-3-3. Maybe at home against lesser opposition we could go 4-2-3-1 Lainton Roberts Smith Pearson Jennings Young Wright Rutherford Holroyd Maguire-Drew Fondop |

Re: Team for Boreham Wood
Same team for me. When Holroyd is fully fit I’d like JMD over on the right which allows him to cut onto his left more easily and put Holroyd in for Rutherford.
I’d like to give Deverdics the chance to see what he can do in his preferred position but struggling to fit him in the current formation as all 3 central midfielders are class. Again, maybe on the left if you use Holroyd as an impact sub for MFT. A tricky one but a nice problem to have. |

-----------------------Lainton
Roberts----M Smith-------Pearson-----Carrington Maguire-Drew-----Young-----Summerfield-----Pyke ------------Beavon-----------Fondop-Talom Keep it simple and play 2 wingers.

By playing a right footed, right back/central midfielder at left back? By playing a striker on the left wing? By moving our left footed striker/ winger to the opposite wing? By changing formation from the opening 2 games? By playing a formation we didnt play in the pre season? By dropping Akil Wright who arguably our best players yesterday? Ok...

Re: Team for Boreham Wood
I can see Rutherford being dropped as he doesn’t offer a goal threat, playing further forward in this formation every player should be looking at 10 plus goals and unfortunately he’ll not get more than a couple so expect Holroyd to replace him when fit.

it would have finished a brilliant move why do we have to kick Rutherford all of the time |
