Lots of criticism pre season of Sam and sone of his signings. I thought that in the spirit of redemption this could be a place where we lay down our statements, confess our sins and ask Mr Rickets for forgiveness.

I'll start; In response to a rumour that we were linked with unknown striker Mike Fandom Talop, I replied to a post linking a YouTube video of him and said

"If that is his "highlightes" reel then I'll say it here and now, not good enough"

I ask Sam fir his forgiveness in my questioning of his judgement.

Will anyone join me in seeking redemption?

Yes me. When managers make a lot of summer signings , a fair percentage of the signings will fail. At this point it looks like possibly all Ricketts’ signings will be successful. The only one who seems limited in terms of what he can offer is Beavon. If these players continue in this vein his summer campaign will have been extraordinarily unique.

I was very concerned that we were unable to attract the players Sam wanted or he was out of his depth, it seems although very early days, I was wrong with both. The bench last night was ridiculous, and I cant remember the bench being as strong as it was last night since our 98points campaign.

We are 2 weeks into the season. There’s no point handing out player of the season awards yet.

Does anyone remember when Adriano Moke was hailed as a superstar after the first 6 games?

Ah , but this thread isnt about making out , the whole team are world beaters Foggy ,more a ---- admit you may have been a tad vocal , in dissing the lack of quality in team and manager ,surely??

Good start better than i thought credit to SR for tactics and substitutions. We look better in midfield and better in attack mind you we couldnt be much worse. Defence same as last year its not broken so dont fix it. Im a lot more optimistic than i was before the dover game the two home games ive been to have been much better than ive seen for a long time lets hope this continues
