I showed the pic of last week's game under our floodlights and said how you can't beat a night time game at the Racecourse. People really want to see that for themselves.

Anyways, is there a package that anybody can recommend to hook them in? just to take in a game and experience something different from the Prem. A lot of the guys are from South America so huge footy fans. I could probably fill a mini-bus.

Once they've seen a game I'm sure I could get them to become part owners, buy a kit etc.

I had 5 mates up for the Orient game last season. My package was prematch drinks in the Cent, match, then post match drinks around town and eventually a meal in the Fat Boar. We Did the Turf then down into Town around a few pubs ending up in the Saith where was live music. They stayed in the Wynnstay and liked the fact it was birthplace of the FAW.
They absolutely loved it and most will hopefully be back this year.
I think their highlight was getting 5 pints of lager and a pint of guiness for £12.10!!!
Wrexham DSA Lager is on their list to try this year

Blimey, next time you go count me in. This sounds superb!

I did a similar thing a few years ago when Wrexham played Hull City (yes, quite a few years ago). We played Shropshire Reds at Lex and then Colliers Park, then watched the game, then got on the beers.

One of the guys who came up from London met a Wrexham girl that night who he eventually married, another met another girl who persuaded him to leave London. He took a job in Chester and although they split up he still lives in Rossett to this day. Those weekends are still talked about.

What I'd like to do is something where the club is the primary financial beneficiary. Any recommendations on club packages?

On the day of the game there is a choice of hospitality between Bamfords & 1864 as bankers probably Bamfords and seats in the executive box package would be the best.
Maybe an idea would be for you all to chip in and sponsor the match or match ball.

Interested? Call Commercial Manager Geoff Scott on 01978 891864 or email geoff.scott@wrexhamfc.tv

After match there is live music around the town Parish Fat Boar Saith Seren etc or check out https://www.glyndwr.ac.uk/en/events/allevents/ possibly a band or comic on at the Uni.

The more the merrier!!!

I guess you'd need to do either Bamfords or the 1864 for the club to benefit primarily, unless you wanted to do a match day sponsorship of some sort. Geoff at the club would be more than happy to come up with something I'm sure.

Is there a list of 'benefits' anywhere that club members are entitled to? My daughter reckons we can get 25% off in the Fat Boar in the week but not sure if that is season ticket holders and club members or just the former. Pretty sure the Saith offer 10% off as well.

Point being perks like this can help grow membership with locals who maybe aren't massive fans but take an interest in the club and could see becoming a member would effectively pay for itself.

Get it right on the pitch and we'll be ok.

Without being pedantic.Even if and its a big if 2000 became WST members how much money would that bring into the club?..Surely we should be trying to encourage more fans through the gate? Bring a friend or something like that or deals for the meals at the club or sponsership

Lets be honest the best way to increase membership is another Stoke situation whereby your priority of getting a ticket increases if you’re a member.

We just have to keep watering the grass. After a period of drought.... We'll have the right mix of rain and shine to enable to crops to grow.

Said that man down the pub.
