Our club is completely debt-free, but contributions to the trust are poor because the fans don't really believe in the ownership model on the whole. The trust have therefore asked the opinion of fans - do they want to be fan owned, or do they want to be privately owned?

The results suggest the fans do not want trust ownership and the level of contribution would seem to back that up. Seeing as you are trust owned yourselves and have massively stagnated since it came about, I would imagine Wrexham fans will understand this point of view.

Have fun blowing promotion again this season.

Whether you were for or against Wrexham becoming a City..Being overlooked in favour of St Asaph, was nothing short of an insulting slap in the face...

Touchy aren't they?

Trust ownership wouldn't work for Newport because there are only about 500 of them who give a shit

Minority eh? This report states: 'A total of 503 respondents supported an application, but 977 opposed it.'

They say they are debt free - lets see when the results are published. They made a loss in excess of £350,000 in 2016-17 but 'expected' to make a profit in 2017-18 due to the cup run. In respect of this season - "The Board have also prepared strict budgets for the 2018-19 season with a view to reducing unnecessary costs and increasing revenue streams."

As to their reaction: according to Shakespeare - Tis better to play with a lions whelp than an old one dying.

Putting both those groups of respondents together, is just a tiny minority of Wrexham population.... Most people were just getting on with their lives, with a curiosity In what would happen...
Personally... I'd love Wrexham to be a City...But I'd like it to look like one first...That would mean investment...Lot's of it......
That won't be happening in my lifetime...

A city of empty shops and devastated streets. A bit pointless really

With the extra status of being a City our council could justify increasing their salaries and expenses
