Minority, I think you'll find over 85% voted against city status in the survey they did in town

You're not a million miles away from the truth.

Obviously you're exaggerating the numbers but, yes, for a club like ours to re-establish itself as a league club and grow its core fan base, having lost an entire generation of supporters due to firstly going bankrupt (something you were close to doing yourselves) and then being "exiled" by the FAW, it's more than likely going to need some private investment.

The bigger risk we face isn't this potential change of ownership, it's the fact that our lease agreement at Rodney Parade ends in four years and it's becoming increasingly clear that the FAW don't particularly want to have a football tenant there. So if you really want to cream your pants at the prospect of a fellow Welsh club going to the wall like you so nearly did, may I suggest you divert your attention towards that - maybe you could give us some advice on how to get the taxpayer to pay for our accommodation?

the more professional welsh clubs the better

the more semi professional welsh clubs the better

i for one don't want to see any welsh clubs go bust

but i do remember the Newport fans overly celebrating at Wembley having beaten a bigger welsh club. and yes there is always someone bigger than you and beating bigger clubs is fun while it lasts...

the newport fans may have had reason to feel like that then, but karma does have a way of going full circle

I think you’ll find we pay rent to our landlords. Starting to sound like a jester fan.

Really , look arround you and you will see that Wrexham are no different to most other places and lest we forget our other shopping areas like Island Green, Eagles Meadow etc are booming.
If you mean 3rd world road surfaces I would agree with you especially the areas supposedly given temporary repairs that made the matter worse or the road to Whitchurch which is a discrace ,but dont worry our saviour Councilor Bithell will come out with more and more crap statements about future spending !

The results suggest the fans do not want trust ownership and the level of contribution would seem to back that up. Seeing as you are trust owned yourselves and have massively stagnated since it came about, I would imagine Wrexham fans will understand this point of view.

Have fun blowing promotion again this season.
Oh dear living in Newport must really be depressing good luck with staying up this season as we pass you on the way up. You forget the problems we had with crap owners that got us into a serious mess that was nothing to do with us supporters !
We are debt free with over 4000 members and a club with history and to be proud of what do you have ?
