i used to think Robbie Savage was a bit of an attention seeker... and just liked winding up the crowd

especially when he played for crewe at crewe v Wrexham in the cup ...

it was always going to be hard for him to endear himself to wrexham fans (his home town club) after his antics in that game...

but i met him quite a few years later with Gary Speed at the Wales match v Bulgaria when Brian Flynn was having his first match caretaker managing Wales....

I chatted to both of them and I liked both of them...

And i'm convinced my missus is secretly in love with robbie even though she's from 11,000 miles away...

He could have just gone into the directors box at no charge, but he is one of the lads.
