Didn't Flynnie do a book launch signing session at Waterstones in the town last season one Saturday lunch time and then attended our home match... Bamfords ???
Never saw him myself but he is rather small.............
We had some great times under Flynn & Reeves - some good players, good cup runs and a certain Mr Bennett who could find the back of the net.

If there is a weakness, it is that Barton does not fully explore the reasons why Wales declined three times to elevate a candidate of such evident credentials to the senior job, or for the outright betrayal of his removal from the age-group post in 2012. As so often, it was Flynn’s fate to be underrated and underappreciated, making it all the more welcome that he now has the biography he deserves.

Best for Leon to answer that. My personal view is Jonathan Ford being ex Coca Cola tends to prefer celebrity culture. The big names... And Brian doesn't fit into that category. Thats why Brian is such a hero to so many. Brian creates celebrities (Bale,Ramsey etc) but dosen't act like one himself.

Read this on my last holiday. It's well written, maintains interest and does introduce some new insights and angles on well known topics/events.
Obviously biased because it's about my Club but trying to be objective I think it's one of the better examples of books on football and its personalities.
When I finished it I liked Flynn more than when I started it - good on you Brian!
