Can't see a demand nor a need for such a competition - especially as it will cause disruption to National League fixtures not just for the participating clubs but their scheduled opponents.

The general idea to play teams from bordering countries is quite appealing but not if it's going to mess the National League fixtures around. Is there any money to be made ? long journeys with associated travel costs and hotel bills too. Can it be recouped on turnstiles admission and presumably competition prize / participation money ?
