He didn’t get much protection from the referee either, took quite a battering and looked extremely tired towards the end.

So Summerfield could have won us the game by not scoring the OG!?

We win as a team and lose as a team.

Fondop isn't going going to score every one on one or make the correct decision every time. He is a helluva lot better than anything we have had in years and he is only going to get better. Also we should have had a penalty which we didn't get which isn't his fault.

I think there was contact but he made the most of it which probably didn’t do him any favours. Had zero protection from ref today. I know he’s a big lad but a foul is a foul.

Summerfield's own goal was bad luck, Fondop was poor play. I agree he is a big improvement on what we have had but he loses his head and composure at times. This is something he needs to work on. As for the pen I think he was looking for it, but need to see the replays to be sure.
