We should have two more points. We need to change how we see games out as make no excuses it was two points dropped against Bromley.

And from what people have been saying regarding Solihull, it was tactical naivety. Sam is learning so its to be expected, but we need to be able to adapt quicker.

Like all teams, we need to improve.

Does SDR also think so? And can we do so?

We win 4, draw 1 in 5 and many are thinking we are champions, then the world falls apart when a bit of reality hits.

We have a new manager, a largely new squad with a number of unproven players, we are very much WiP and not going to run away with this league. SDR will have learnt a lot more about his players and the make up of his squad with the run of injuries and weekend performances.

However, we should be positive, we've got some early points on the board, seen glimpses of our potential to entertain, score goals and win games, as well as not seeing anything yet from any other team to think we can't compete for the play offs. Obviously, August/September is far too early to think anything about championship contenders.

A bang on the nail post Dave, some will never learn you don't win the league in August, take the Premier some have Liverpool down as champions after 3 games if only football was that simple.

Agree. Whilst there are glimmers of hope for the future, it’s too early to yet judge how it will all pan out.

But, for what it’s worth, I have at least been entertained this season!

Yes PD and that's the main thing I reckon being entertained whatever the league you are in. Solihull was like a reminder of the horrors of last season.
