First impressions count in any walk of life and from what I saw (or really to the point didn't see) then I just don't see what he will bring to the party.
Danny Whitaker must be a midfield football genius to have got anything out of this lad at Macc if he played 31 games. Although they did have Ryan Lloyd as well.

1st game a player would really looking to do some basics, get on the ball and gain a bit of confidence with and from those around him. To not touch the ball in 30 mins and also be completely off the pace when trying to chase and run after someone was completely bizarre. IMO he is too lightweight and will be a flop as he will not have the players around him that will bring out whatever attributes he has. Obviously I could be totally wrong and he was fooling me and the public on Monday - now honey that's quite a different subject.

Pagl give the lad a chance good grief he was only on the pitch about 30 mins, yes he was invisible but so were most of the team.

I'm doom and gloom on this one. Rendell is not the player you want a makeshift defence against, we're still in a mess due to injuries. For me its a day to go with reliable performers Beavon, Fondop, Holroyd up front. Anybody but Tharme in defence and lets give Hinds a run out in the second half.

What's Tharme done wrong? And Holroyd doesn't deserve to start after his performance at Solihull.

Tharme has looked ok nervous but hasn't been a liability only way the lad will get better is with experience
