Good move from the club.

Let's not have the same ridiculous discussion we had last time.

Being derogatory towards anyone should be treated the same across the board should it not?

If the answer is yes to the above, which it should be, that does give football a dilemma, because like it or not, people see a part of football culture for many generations to say/shout/sing things they wouldnt do on the streets outside the football ground, and i wouldn't know where to start, to change that culture.
Good to see that someone at the club recognises that at least HE knows where to start. However, "culture" is the last word that I'd use to describe the attitude of the morons who feel that insulting behaviour towards anybody, inside or outside the Racecourse, is acceptable. Sadly, there are examples in some replies on this thread of precisely the attitude involved. Such posters may have the morals of adolescent alley cats, but there is no excuse for broadcasting their ill-mannered habits to the decent fans who - thankfully - remain in the majority.

For the benefit of clarity, this is not in any way a criticism of redtalk's post.

This 100 %

John Mills article clearly states the apology was made to Megan (Reid).

I really do hope the apology went to the correct person which was clearly Kate Simmons otherwise we really do look like we have heaped a double portion of embarrassment on ourselves.

To be fair, I can believe that you're a flasher. Not sure about the first part though.
