Layton 7 not much to do but improved kicking.
Roberts 7 thought he had a good game today
Carrington 7 getting to admire he’s consistently.
Pearson 7 as always reliable spoilt it by getting booked.

Whitegate. So how does Deverdics get a 5 and Drew but Drew gets the extra 1 for the goal.
Deverdics was a 2 at best and thats for finding the pitch and then the dressing room after.
Needs to be off-loaded on loan asap.

Wright a 5, Fondop a 6, Pike a 6 and the rest 7s

Don't disagree but Summerfield gave the ball away inside the centre circle and it almost cost us a goal. We were 2-0 up at the time so I guess that's the difference between him and Deverdics

Rutherford did well at RB when Roberts moved to the centre.

Personally would have brought him on earlier to put a bit of attacking pace up front.

Agree with your summation of Wright - good game today and much potential.

Lainton - 7 did everything required of him. His kicking directly into their penalty area was very good. Pity the forwards didn't want to get on the end of them.

Roberts 7 played well in both positions
Tharme 7 played well and he will improve with playing more games
Pearson 8 standard SP - did anyone see Rendell trying to get out of SP's pocket?
Carrington 7 he's definitely mr reliable

Summerfield 8.5 was the glue in midfield and had a very good game. One aberration which I will forgive him for
Wright 6 worked hard with little output
Deverdics 5 it's not happening for him but he didn't hide
Maguire Drew 5 I thought he was about to be taken off when he scored. Looked out of sorts on the right.

Beavon 6 worked his socks off and scored with a great header
Fondop 5 needs to get his head up more. Refs will not be conned by him throwing himself to the floor.

Young 6.5 - we looked much more balanced when he came on
Rutherford 6.5 played in an unfamiliar role and as usual never let anyone down
Pyke 6 he's an impact player but he looked really up for it when he came on

I can agree with those ratings. Summerfield will sleep tonight as he was carrying Deverdics.

Beavon was my MOM even without his goal. Ran his socks off, chased everything and won the ball back on countless occasions. That beautiful flick to set up JMD was worth the admission alone.

I agree, Beavon had some great touches, notably the flick to JMD. He wins so many headers for a relatively short striker.
