Default Todays Ref

Thought he done ok today especially when their number 3 went down "injured" and he insisted the trainer came on to treat him.

Thought he favoured us where last weeks ref favoured them.
Standard seems better this season.

He made some good decisions like that but also some bizzare ones like awarding us a goal kick late on in the 2nd half when it took the world's biggest deflection off Pearson. Also not sure how many times their centre back went unpunished when hauling MFT down.

I thought that was a poor decision. Wasn’t a head injury so why did he stop play when we were about to break?

I thought he was giving them everything to them up until he stopped play for their no 3 (clearly taking the p) and after that he seemed to favour us.

In France listened on Calon. They were amazed Rendall wasn't sent off for dissent after the 1st goal. Said he completely lost it, harangued the ref for ages and 'went all red faced' such was the sheer depth of his 'eggyness'. Anyone there see that?

Yes, he got a yellow card for his reaction which didn't shut him up and the way he was going on he could have easily picked up a 2nd yellow.

We thought he'd taken a great forearm to his face (unintentional of course) to block him from making any effort to get to the corner, maybe wrong and stand to be corrected!

Nice to have a decision to for us.
