As those that travelled have said, the reaction was about the performance not the result.
Even the most critical would not expect that we are going to go through a season undefeated. This would be sheer stupidity.

Even the poor game management on the Saturday wasn't given the same criticism as at least the team had performed to a standard to get to 2-0.

Monday was unacceptable from every level (as they say) and I think Sam knows this and is just looking to try and gloss over it by using the defeat as the issue. Changes to the team and formation - even Deverdics unfortunate recall ha ha - show that he wasn't happy.

A couple of wins soon masks a defeat but for me its all about players doing the basics and if we do these right and then get beat by a better side then we hold our hands up - like last season. Poor performances and basics just mask a few results again like last season.

Sam has now brought in Walker and Lawlor who both seem decent signings at this level and I would expect both to be in the squad. I don't see the point in signing Walker if he isn't going to get some game time and I see Lawlor needed with Mannys injury or even dare I say Pearson not willing to extend his contract and its a double header for next season. Conspiracy or what

Interviews haven't been done on the pitch at the Racecourse for a long time. There was a media room below the directors box where you'd usually just stand and do interviews in front of a back drop.

Personally not sure why he's dwelling on last week after a win. Some of our fans are a bit entitled, but when you travel as well as we did on Monday people expect a bit better. Time to move on.

A 2 year deal is not just cover for Manny and neither is an undisclosed fee.
I would like to see Sam get Pearson and Manny extend by another year now/before Jan but if not then plans have to be made.

Its just a theory ha ha.

He does really need to mix up the questions. they are very predicatable and repeated every interview.
