Ability on the pitch has no real correlation to management ability off it. Some of the best managers have been bang average players.

Had talent at a young age but never trained on. His enjoyment of the trappings that come with being a footballer had something to do with him never fulfilling his potential. Hopefully, he is older and wiser cut out his recreational activities and will be an effective scout. Good luck to him let's hope it reaps rewards.

Just listening to 5 Live.. Liverpool have appointed a throw-in coach.. another vacancy at Wrexham perhaps??

Doug Tharme has got a good long throw - it's nice to have an attacking threat from a wide variety of situations.
