To an extent yes but I don't see the midfield 3 working together that effectively as of yet (it was slightly better 2nd half last night).

I still think we need a midfield general who can organise and get the passing going. Wright was very poor 1st half last night and gave the ball away in vital areas that almost cost us a goal. His positional play has been poor despite some who think he is our most improved player.

Roberts going more forward to help the midfield
Completely disagree about Wright. When you consider hes only 22 and is likely to improve he's more than good enough.

Well he wasn't 1st half last night - consistently gave the ball away on the half way line and put us in trouble against a very quick counter attacking team. We got away with it though fortunately. He needs to improve positionally and also with his passing. Yes he is still only young and nowhere near his potential yet but still very much a work in progress.

Agree with your point regarding the midfield. We have some decent players in there but no midfield BOSS. We need someone to organise and bring the best out of the players we've got including Akil Wright, who I think is improving game on game despite his faults.
As for Quigley, not sure he's better than what we've got. If Miller became available then that would be a different prospect.

It shows the potential of our club. Lincoln were knocking around in our league with 2,000 fans watching their games until a couple of seasons ago, and now they are averaging over 8,000 in League 2. I see no reason why we couldn't do the same.

If we were promoted bigger games and bigger away attendances would push up our average quite significantly.

In this league you generally get one of two types of player:

Up and coming
Journeymen

We have tried the second option for a few years and it has not worked, lets give some young hungry pros a shot in key positions like we are for a change.

Get behind them unless you want to see us flounder through criticism and confidence wrecking analysis.

Going back to attendances a 5000 plus average is fantastic. The potential is here to do what lincoln have done

Nice to see but would be interested to see the methodology with only 2 more goals being conceded by us in the season😁😁😁
