I’m not sure whether I am too biased but I think the ref last night was totally useless. Why did he allow their CB to manhanft Mike so much? Same last Sat!

Was it a pen at the end - I thought it was so obviously one!

The last two have been a joke

one of the worst this season no consistancy, who ever went down first got awarded the freekick or put their hand up and shouted for a foul, really poor, wouldnt let the game flow at all. didnt seem to allow for any phyiscal contact to take place during challenges just a joke.

Were people watching the same game?

Yes he didn't award fouls but he was consistent with both teams and let the game flow.

No silly yellows and wasn't trying to be centre of attention.

Compare that to Solihull and I will take a ref like yesterday anyday of the week.

I thought he was alright, controlled the players well. Didn't give out stupid cards, let the game flow

An English referee in charge of an official F.A. match involving a Welsh team playing at home against an English club. What do you expect?. I will never change MY mind and yes I am aware that our team has many many English players in the squad and they are truly very much welcome. Last night's episode was very much the norm with rare opposite examples. I seem to remember, certainly in the 50s and early 60's, Welsh referees officiating at the Racecourse.
I'm sorry but it's my opinion. Please note, the word 'team' in the first line should read 'club'.

He contributed to the 0-0 by constantly penalising forwards for wrestlimg with defender's and not giving a single one in against defenders for the same thing. He was consistent with both sides though which is a refreshing change.

I think its more to the point that the referees at this level are on the whole prone to errors or just plain crap.

I don't think there is any conspiracy in this as fans of pretty much every other team in this league are constantly moaning about the refs. They are reffing at this level for a reason.
