Pagl, I hear you. I am listening to your point of view.

I don't actually agree with you, but thats okay.

If you look at the greatest managers in British football (all Scottish) and notice what they said when their great teams where achieving great things, they all talked about the power and influence of their fans and the effect it had on their team of players.

In my view it is very short sighted not to recognise the influence of the fans on a Championship winning side.

Of course the players still need to win the games out on the pitch, but they can't do it without the fans behind them...

We will need to bring in a few extra recruits to bolster our side. That is obvious to many. But in my personal view, we are still going up as Champions... Thats just my view.

After the Barnet game on Saturday the next three matches are against teams in the bottom 5. Potential there to get a good run of form going again and keep the pressure on Orient and Salford.

So you may disagree but..... 1,500 at Solihull, 380 at Sutton and 717 at Harrogate and not a goal in sight for the fans to cheer. Key reason why I will be avoiding away games.

I understand your war cry in this thread and yes I agree the fans can act as a catalyst and a 12th man. However if performances such as Solihull and Sutton occur then the fans really have nothing to get them going and the players need to up their game and start to lead on the pitch.

Hopefully the fans will do their best to support home games to provide Sam with the funds to improve in January whilst also providing a vocal support that will spur the players on.

If you think fans and support count for much in modern football talk to the likes of say Leeds, Everton or especially the self styled most loyal football fans in history Newcastle fans.

Football now is vastly more about money than fan support even at our level - see Crawley, Forest Green, Fleetwood etc. down the years.

I have a plan for Saturdays home game v Barnet. We lock our lads into the changing rooms, and then 4000 Wrexham fans will “will” the ball into the opponents net! Pigs might fly!

I have willed Deverdics not to play since his last sorry outing and he hasn't been seen since, so I think there could be something in the power of positive thought.

Talk about melodramatic or what. Thought the thread was about how the fans and positive thinking could make us champions.
