I got a bit carried away with the Halifax prediction - they were much better than last season, and we still haven’t found the right combination - so hopefully better to come against lowly Braintree.

They, like us, are desperate for points - albeit for different reasons - so we’ll need to be canny and patient whilst we break down their defence. If we can get an early goal I think the flood-barriers will finally open and we’ll bag a few.

I'll go with 0-1 as well; they look relegation fodder at this stage, and these are the sort of games we simply have to win.

If anyone is going by train are engineering works; it seems to be a bus service from Chelmsford to Braintree every hour. I'll decide in the morning; I guess it will be one of our lower Saturday away supports of the season, 250 or so maybe 300 tops.

I'll go for 2-0 too. Had planned on going but looks like a wet afternoon and no cover for away fans so may have to listen in to this one.

I would be happy with 1-0 and 3pts
However I think its going to be tight at the top and we need to bash in 3 to improve GD and send a message to others.

However (2) looking at them whilst they have lost in most cases its only by 1 goal

Be patient, be tight at the back and take the chances up front when they appear
